In order to RSVP to a Joy event, you should visit the couple’s wedding website or mobile app and click on the “RSVP” button.
Depending on the website layout that the couple has chosen, you will either see the RSVP button on the right side of the page, along with the date and countdown of the wedding:
Or, you will see the RSVP in the menu at the top of the page:
If the RSVP is password-protected you will need to enter the event password first. Once the RSVP is unlocked, enter your first and last name (as shown on the invite or save the date that the couple sent you) and your email address. Depending on the couple’s RSVP settings, your name may have to match exactly with the way the couple entered it on the guest list.
If you’re RSVPing for you and a guest (or your family), you’ll be able to RSVP for the entire group after entering your name and email address. The system will match you with your party on the couple’s guest list, and you’ll see the other guests you can RSVP for.
You can then click on the respond button next to each guest, to begin answering each of the RSVP questions. After each guest’s responses have been answered, click on the continue button, to respond for the next guest. After all guests have RSVP’d, be sure to click on the “Submit Your RSVP” button to finish.
If you’re having trouble RSVPing and don’t see the option to request RSVP access, please reach out directly to the couple. And if you don’t see “RSVP” on the couple’s website, the couple has decided not to collect RSVPs through their website.
