If a guest answers ‘yes’ or ‘no’ to a certain question on your RSVP, you might want to send them a follow-up question based on that response. You can do that with Joy!
To do this, head over to your RSVP page from your admin dashboard, go to the “Manage questions” tab, select the question you want to add a follow up question to and click on ‘Ask follow-up question.’

A box will open up and you can choose to create a multiple choice or text follow-up question that will be asked dependent upon the response to the first (parent) question. You can also choose from some of our suggested questions like song requests, food preferences, etc:

It will look like this once you save the follow-up question:

Here is an example scenarios:
Scenario 1: Guest A responds as ‘Attending’ and you then ask them a follow-up question asking for their mailing address.
Scenario 2: Guest B responds as ‘Not Attending’ to your event, and you then ask them a follow-up question asking them if they would like to leave any notes or well wishes to you/the couple since they won’t be attending.
In both scenarios, you can ask appropriate follow-up questions to each guest, based on their previous responses.

You can get really creative with this. The options are endless.
