There are a variety of reasons you may not be ready to include a wedding date on your wedding website and mobile app, whether you haven’t yet set a date, or whether your plans are in flux due to unforeseen events. Whatever your reason and personal circumstance is, you can now hide your date until you are ready to share it with your guests.
To hide the date on your website and mobile app, (note: the date will also be hidden in your e-cards and emails, and on your RSVP page), you just need to head over to your Settings page from the admin dashboard, and remain on the ‘General’ page when you get there. On the ‘General’ page, you will see the “Event Info” about halfway down the page. Within that section, you will also see the option to toggle the “Show in website and app” on or off.
If you are showing the event date on your website and app, then you can edit the date that you want to show here as well. If you don’t want to show the date on your website and app, then you can toggle this option “off” so that the toggle turns gray, and it shows “Event date currently hidden.” You will also notice that the Event Countdown on your site and app will automatically disable when your date is hidden:
(To learn more about setting up your Event Countdown, check out this helpful article).
You can change your mind, and decide to hide or show your event display date at any time. Just keep in mind, again, that the event display date will be hidden (or show) on your website, mobile app, RSVP and your emails and e-cards simultaneously!
