It’s great to see the changes you make to your event as you make them, particularly when designing the theme of your site. Joy has created hundreds of diverse themes so that you can add that extra flare to fit your unique style!
From your Design page, you can preview any selected theme, even before you publish it. Sift through our theme gallery and simply select the ones you like by clicking on the thumbnail image on the left. This can ultimately help you decide which theme you want to use. When you find a theme that you like, click “Apply Changes” on the upper right side of the page to apply the changes to your site.

Why Is My Theme Not Appearing in the Preview?
In addition to the themes Joy creates, we also have partnerships with print services that supply matching physical invitations. Occasionally, the themes that are part of these partnerships are discontinued as those partnerships dissolve or certain themes are recalled by our partners. Additionally, as Joy’s website-building platform evolves we will sometimes discontinue themes that we feel no longer meet our standard of design.
Regardless of whether your theme was discontinued, you will still see your theme listed as available for your event on the Design page. We are committed to supporting your theme, or theme in like-ness, as it appears on your website for the lifetime of your site.
However, it isn’t always possible to support your theme in all scenarios; specifically, we may introduce features that are simply incompatible with certain themes or stylistic choices. (Just like a home, a website requires constant upkeep and that sometimes means replacing, removing, or augmenting certain parts of the site to keep things functioning).
NOTE: You can view themes on your actual website as well, to see how they look, (it’s only on the preview where certain themes may not appear.) Click “Apply Changes” and then “View Site” on the upper right side of the Design page to view themes directly on your site.
