Everybody loves presents, and sometimes it’s a relief to know exactly what to give rather than having to come up with a unique, clever, meaningful, beautiful, never-been-done-perfect gift. This is why we love registries.
Of course, not everybody will want a registry or feel the need to include it on their website and app. You can, therefore, add or remove the section as your preferences (or need for that gravy boat you saw last weekend) change. Click here to see how to remove the Registry section.
To start you’ll want to navigate to the “Registry” page from your admin dashboard.
Add a link to your existing registry
To add links that will take your guests directly to your online registries, click on ‘My Registry’ near the top right of the Registry Page, then Add Registry:

A dialog box will appear where you can paste your registry URL under ‘Registry URL.’

If Joy has syncing or transfer capabilities with the store you add, you’ll see the option to transfer or sync your registry. Transferring a registry enables you to manage all gifts through Joy instead of the external registry. You can learn more about transferring a registry here. Or, if you want to sync the registry which means you’ll manage your gifts on the external registry site and just display the items on the Joy site, click on “I’d rather manage my registry through (retailer’s name).”

Add as many links as you would like following the same process. Once the registry syncs or transfers, you’ll see a checkmark indicating the sync was successful or a grey arrow indicating the transfer was successful. In each instance, and your items will be displayed on the Registry Page. If we don’t have syncing or transfer capabilities with the store you added, we’ll display the logo and guests can click on it when they visit your page to be redirected to the retailer.

The site will show the icon for the registry site (such as the Crate and Barrel, William Sonoma, John Lewis logos above). If we can’t find a logo for your registry, no problem, you can type in a registry title to display on our website.
Edit your Welcome Note
Personalize your page with your registry message: remember, this is the last thing your guests will read before deciding how much money they want to spend on you!

To do this, click on “Edit Welcome Note,” then edit the text in the text box and click “Save Note”.
Change the order of your stores
To change the order of how the registries appear on your page, click “Modify”. You can then drag and drop your registries in whatever order you like.

Delete a registry (in case you have an extra)
If you need to remove a registry, click on the registry you want to remove. This will then open another box. Click on the “Delete Registry” on the bottom left corner of that box and this will successfully remove the registry from your registry page!
