Your loved ones are about to do the “I do” dance, and they’ve saved you a front-row seat! Luckily, they’ve chosen an app that’ll have all the key wedding info right in your pocket.
There are a couple of ways you can join their wedding on the app.
The email shortcut
If the couple goes the email route (because email is the new bouquet toss), you’ll get a message from them via Joy. Inside, you’ll find a note, links to download the app for iOS or Android, their website’s URL (with their event handle), and a password if needed. The event handle? It’s like the magic word at the end of the URL. For example, if the link is withjoy.com/amyplusdave, the event handle is amyplusdave. Once you’ve got the URL and event handle, hop onto withjoy.com (where you’ll need to use the full URL) or use the event handle to join their wedding on the app.
By the way, that event handle is like your backstage pass – totally unique to their wedding. Lost the email? Just give them a shout and ask again!
The DIY approach
Misplaced the email? No worries. If you’re too excited to wait, head to the Apple or Play stores and search for Joy. Then, after downloading the app and creating an account, use their event handle to find their site.
