How Will Our Funds Be Transferred to Our Bank Account?

When you first add a cash fund to your Joy registry, you will be asked to include your PayPal, Venmo, or Square Cash link. Your guests will be able to contribute to your cash fund via whichever payment method you selected.

Note: Joy is not affiliated with PayPal, Venmo, or Square Cash and does not have access to your funds.

PayPal

To transfer your PayPal funds to your bank account, you’ll want to log in to your PayPal account and have a bank account already linked.

Venmo

To transfer your Venmo funds to your bank account, you’ll want to open the Venmo app on your phone or log in to your Venmo account. Tap on the hamburger menu in the top right. Then tap on “Transfer balance” on the top.

Square Cash

To transfer your Square Cash funds to your bank account, you’ll want to open the Cash App on your phone.

As long as your guests complete the transaction the money will be instantly deposited into your Venmo, PayPal, or CashApp account. If you don’t see the money in your account, it’s most likely your guest(s) didn’t complete the transaction.
