When guests join your wedding and proceed to the RSVP section, they will be asked a series of RSVP questions. You can control what questions are asked and add your own!
If you stick with the default settings and make no changes, all guests will be asked 1) whether they will be attending 2) their meal choice and if they need a hotel room, which are both set as a follow-up question to the attending answer so only those attending will be asked the question 3) if they will be attending the Rehearsal 4) for their mailing address and 5) how they know the couple.
If you want to know more (or less) about your guests, click on ‘RSVP Questions’ on your admin dashboard. From here you can add, delete, and customize your questions.
Adding Questions

Once you navigate to the RSVP page, you’ll want to click ‘Add Question’ in the upper right corner. You’ll have the option of creating your own multiple-choice question, a general text question, or selecting one of our pre-filled questions.

Go ahead and ask for some fun facts. You can project these results or make it part of your speech on the big day!

Deleting Questions
To delete an RSVP question, you can simply click on the red trash can icon on the bottom right corner of the question box (for the question that you want to delete):

If you have not had any guests submit responses to that question yet, then a box will open, asking you to confirm the permanent deletion of that question:

If you’ve had guests already submit responses to a question that you are trying to delete, then you will be notified that you can only archive that question, (because if you were to delete it, the previous responses from guests will be removed:

If you have a question that has follow-up questions attached to it, you won’t be able to delete that question. You will need to first delete the follow-up questions, and then you will be able to delete that question:

How do I un-archive questions that I previously archived?
Great question! If you scroll down below your active questions, you will see an “Inactive” section. When you click on that text, it will expand the area where all of your “Inactive” questions live:

You can then click on any question to open it up, and once the question box opens, you will see a purple “Unarchive” button that will re-activate that question when you click on it. That’s it!

Disabling the RSVP feature
If you don’t plan on using Joy for any RSVP purposes or aren’t ready to receive responses, feel free to disable the RSVP completely. To disable the RSVP, click on the Settings tab from your RSVP page, then toggle off ‘Show RSVP.’ This will allow guests to access your wedding information hassle-free.
